This country will be just like China within 1 year and it’s because companies charge so much. Craigslist is becoming a haven of modded game consoles, game bootlegs, illegal ROM CD-Rs and more.
No one will pay $200 for a Windows install package when they can download it for free.
Eventually, Best Buy will drop oficial merchandise and carry knockoffs when it becomes economiclaly viable.
People don’t want to pay high prices when alternatives exist and laws are never enforced.

well, they are so available because they are cheap, with this economy people are looking for cheap things, they usually don’t care if it’s a bad deal they don’t want to spend about $250 for an iPod when they can get a knock-off for $75
i gave you 5 stars, as far as i’m concerned you earnt it.
also to answer you question it’s to get a piece of the markets revenue, the people you make these are by no means dumb they know that the the designs they copy are from sucessful companies while they lower the prices of these copies. in short they’re given the illusion of being better value for money than the official copies or just as a cheaper alternative to something someone may be unable to afford (the iphone knockoffs for example).
I dont see why the original companys that made the real products dont sue the knock off companies. If YoUTube is getting users for copyright, why cant these companies just do the same thing to the knock off companys

i have a mini ipod touch knock off and it sucks so bad but it was a deal 8gb 89 dollars but 20 dollar shipping makin it 110 but it lasted me even though it sucks ass battery lasts only 4 hours its really bad lmao but it didnt look exactly lik it it had volume home buttons on bottom and it had touch screen (sucked) no games or nuthin it had a basic title screen it was pretty bad i hate it i need a real ipod touch lmao

I live in the Philippines and fake electronic items are so common like compact music players, home DVD players and especially DVD movies, fake DVD’s cost less than 1$. Originals are really rare in fact I have only seen an original Ipod a few times only. Because they are very expensive compared to the fake ones. Average people in our country prefers fake mp3 players because the price difference is too high.
